Guardianship

A guardianship is a legal arrangement that allows a person or entity to make decisions for another person who is unable to do so for themselves. A guardianship may be necessary for a variety of reasons, such as when a person is incapacitated by illness, injury, disability, or age, or when a minor child needs a caretaker other than their parents.

At our law firm, we have extensive experience in handling guardianship matters in Nevada. We can help you with:

  • Petitioning for guardianship of an adult or a minor child
  • Contesting a guardianship petition filed by someone else
  • Representing the interests of a proposed protected person or a protected person
  • Advising and assisting guardians with their duties and responsibilities
  • Modifying or terminating a guardianship
  • Transferring a guardianship from or to another state

We understand that guardianship is a complex and sensitive issue that affects the lives and rights of the people involved. We are committed to providing compassionate and professional legal services to protect the best interests of our clients and their loved ones.
