The Nevada Real Estate Division has the authority to take disciplinary action against licensees who violate the provisions of the Nevada Revised Statutes and the Nevada Administrative Code. Disciplinary actions can include fines, license suspension, license revocation, or other penalties. The Division may also require licensees to pay administrative fines of up to $10,000 for each violation they commit.
The grounds for disciplinary action include, but are not limited to, making false or fraudulent representations, making false promises, accepting commissions or valuable consideration from unauthorized parties, failing to maintain brokerage agreements, failing to account for or remit money belonging to others, commingling clients’ money with their own, and inducing parties to break brokerage agreements.
