John Pearson, Esq.
John Pearson has been practicing law in Nevada for over ten years. He specializes in civil litigation, representing clients in cases involving real estate, contract disputes, family law, and bankruptcy. He has a reputation for being a skilled advocate, a persuasive negotiator, and a creative problem-solver.
John began his legal career in 2013 after graduating from UNLV with honors. He then joined a prestigious law firm in Las Vegas where he worked as an associate for three years. During this time, he handled a variety of cases, ranging from complex corporate reorganizations to multimillion dollar divorces.
In 2015, John decided to start his own law practice based in Las Vegas. He has achieved many successes in his ten years of practice including several verdicts and settlements for his clients totaling millions of dollars.
John Pearson is not only a lawyer, but also a veteran. He served in the United States Marines for six years from 2003 to 2010. He completed two tours to Iraq where he participated in combat operations and humanitarian missions. His military service had a profound impact on his personal and professional development, shaping his values, skills, and goals.
John's first tour to Iraq was in 2005, during the height of the insurgency and sectarian violence. He was assigned to a motorized platoon tasked with conducting convoys and security halts throughout enemy territory. He witnessed and experienced the horrors and hardships of war, such as enemy attacks, improvised explosive devices, casualties, and civilians suffering. He also encountered the complexities and challenges of the political and cultural situation, such as when he assisted in setting up for the first Iraqi elections in the local area. As his platoon's field radio operator, he was responsible for communicating with friendly aircraft and calling in medevacs for Marines wounded by roadside bombs. John's second tour to Iraq was in 2009, after "the surge," in which he commanded the crew of an armored vehicle.
John Pearson is grateful for and proud of his military service which shaped him into who he is today. He continues to serve his country and his community by supporting various causes and organizations such as the Wounded Warrior Project, the American Civil Liberties Union, and the Marine Corps League.
John is fully fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and is available to consult with clients in those languages.
